Who would have thought that I would be working with such innovative and full of vision architects in Davao City.Introducing Arch.Kristin Lu and Builder Ramesis Michael Lu. This couple has been busy lately as to how will they contribute to Davao’s progress in terms of real estate. Until such time, after several drafts, we have come up of a concept to one of its properties in Puan making it a Thai-themed community. And we called it Amiya Resort Residences.

After we opened the site in public, my colleagues in photography and in films have been calling me requesting Amiya as their location for photoshoots. Ram Lu is the builder and house model designer of Kisan Lu Lands Inc. both high-end and low-cost  housing.

It seems like I’m visiting Thailand or Malaysia. This Asian inspired private resort is located at Caliclic , Island Garden City of Samal. The resort’s architect Ramesis Lu invited me to take photos of his masterpiece hiding privately in SAMAL. You are lucky that you have gone to this post because you will about to see the interior of this magnificent architecture.

The resort situates along the shore of Samal owned by a businessman. I am so sorry but you cannot visit the resort and experience. Did I mention private? But, you can see it now!

Tagum City Hall

Together with the Orchard Road Staff, I was invited by its Vice Pres. to go with them not just to look over of my company’s booth but also to witness how Tagum opened their annual international event “Musikahan sa Tagum“. The “shell-like” inspired stage awed me and pointed me to a question ” Why Davao City cannot do this?”. I left myself unanswered and proceed to explore the gigantic unfinished city hall.

Mayor Uy was present in the opening. He congratulated the performers and personally welcomed guests regardless of who you are.  I could see real estate companies and other private entrepreneurs supported the event by mounting booth for their businesses.

In terms of security, policemen and military were visible in all corners. The traffic flow was properly managed around the area. Even when the night covered the city, but spot and neon lights glowed the area creatively. Want to know more of Tagum? Click Here.

This place is vintage no more. The look yes, but it has named Claude’s Le Café de Ville. It offers french foods, a function hall for meetings and the ZEBRA room for a small family who wanted to stay with time-lapse effect. The house looks creepy at first glance, but when you happen to explore its corners, everything is awesome.

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.

“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.

“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”

Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”

Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.

“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”

However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.

“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”

Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.

But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.

“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.

Many lives were sacrificed not only the 57 victims but also those brave  witnesses. Once again, the Philippines experienced injustice after acquitting ARMM Governor Zaldy Ampatuan and Vice Mayor Tato. Yes, there is a due process. Our political system of government is equipped enough to cater that “DUE PROCESS’ thing. The only problem is ”the one” in position. Given. Thats normal to us now. Injustice! Here comes Secretary Agrabyado, whose soul belongs to the Ampatuans. How could he manage such conscience? How could he dare to sell the true essence of justice to the hands of evils? 57 lives were killed like pigs. Women were raped infront of their dying husbands.Very inhuman! Just like that?  People of the Philippines, let us be one. Let us help one another to call action for justice! Let us help our country even in a simple way of condemning the killers! Let us vote for leaders who can protect the rights of the people to live safely and freely. Let us put leaders who can destroy co-leaders that are corrupt and  murderer! Please!

Cheche Lazaro’s Statement

It is mind-boggling why I am being singled out for prosecution for following the tenets of responsible journalism. If raising the concerns of underpaid public school teachers deprived of their benefits by a publicly accountable government institution and giving my accuser the airtime to explain her boss’s side of the story are now considered crimes under our laws, then I plead guilty.

This is a small price to pay for bringing a perfectly legitimate public interest issue out in the open. Probe will not be intimidated into submission. I just wish my accuser will play fair and hire private lawyers instead of using government lawyers (from the GSIS), whose salaries are incidentally paid for by, among others, the teachers shortchanged by the questionable policy of the GSIS and private citizens like me who pay taxes.

In the last 22 years, Probe has carved a niche in the industry and won recognition here and abroad for consistently adhering to time-honored journalistic values of accuracy, fairness and objectivity. My team and I have no plans of changing the way we work just to accommodate the personal agenda of people in power.

How many times have these two said anything truthful? As far as I can remember, zilch, nada, never. I’m sure they’re doing the dirty work of pushing the Cha-Cha one way or another. Just to be on the safe side, Gloria has been globetrotting, most probably to try and hide her loot. She’s using the plight of the starving, jobless Filipinos to spirit away her ill-gotten wealth. Perhaps she’s staying away from Europe as the EU have very strict laws against dirty money.

So the cat is out of the bag, Lakas and Kampi are consolidationg their forces, perhaps to resurrect a KBL-like party should they succeed in amending the constitution. They’re trying to create a monopoly of sorts to ensure that they would still enjoy the perks that come with their ass-licking loyalty to the soon-to-be illegitimate prime minister. Look hard at these pictures and tell me with all honesty that these two have any shred of sincerity in them. Would you entrust the future of your children in faces like these?
